The Simpsons Movie website has very nice feature where you can create an avatar of what you'd look like if you were part of the Simpsons universe.

After seeing what celebrities like Sting, Paul McCartney and Mel Gibson look like in the Simpsons universe, it's fun the creators let the fans make versions of themselves.

I was tempted to use the trademark yellow-colored skin but it was too far from my natural skin tone. It's really too bad though that the clothes options are limited, but it's good enough for me. (Even if I look like a dude from the 60's.)
