Screensucked.com's Top 10 Movies of 2009

Screensucked's Top 10 Movies of 2009 is out and was it a hard list to compile! This year's list is marked by movies with very good stories with five films in the drama/comedy genre. Sci-fi is is still strong with four entries. And this is the second time so far that a horror movie made the year-end Top 10 list.

So here's the Top 10 Movies I watched this year (along with their ratings in parentheses):

2009 was a great movie year for me as I rated five movies with "5," and a lot of movies got a rating of "4" and higher. The hardest part was deciding which movie top place on top, but it was the quirky and honest story of (500) Days of Summer that won me over. Slumdog Millionaire was a very, very close second placer (I also considered that it was released globally in 2008). But in any case, this is a ranking that I'm happy with.

One final note: Sorry, Twilight fans, New Moon didn't even crack the top 20 movies in my list. :P
