My opinion is that bloggers,of all the internet user today, would love to support advocacies that make society better.
That's why I was drawn to the "Every Kick Counts" blogger event hosted by Nutrilite. The advocacy they were supporting was the Museo Pambata, the Philippines' most popular children's museum and the thrust was to help alleviate the illiteracy problem of the country.
When I attended the event, I was a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the event was nice, the program did highlight the contribution a person would make whenever they sign up to the Every Kick Counts website. However, I wanted to see the beneficiary of the event to be present, some one to represent the Museo Pambata. I think that was the part about the event that was missing-- the whole exercise would have more effective if the bloggers saw where and how the kicks and clicks would help society.
