It's Palm Sunday and election season. This combination is enough to drive campaign managers in a frenzy. So what do I see on the way to my training class? Motorcades!
What an annoyance. I was stuck in traffic for a significant amount of time because of election candidates wanting to get exposure at a day where a lot of people will be going to church. I wouldn't blame them for this voter-exposure bonanza, but it was just too much.
For me, the motorcade idea did not work. I was more infuriated with the candidates because of the inconvenience the motorcades brought about.
Palm Sunday was the day Jesus went to Jerusalem being greeted warmly by the citizens. I can't the same about the candidates.
